Note: many assignments are marked "UC" for Under Construction, and I am still adding assignments and updating assignments to improve their rigor each year. Key Projects are not the only aspect of the course, and there are more "traditional" texts that the class reads together.
I normally take the text of an assigned JCPS novel and pull questions designed to reference the Close-Reading and Grammar work that the class is also pursuing. This is a portion of the daily classwork that students complete during their "choice" stations when they are not working on their Portfolios. |
